You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I’ve gone onto the iPad and signed out of iCloud and it has deleted the data.
Have gone onto my iCloud account and removed device.
However it still shows up on my Mac in Apple Music ,the remove button is greyed out and it says I can’t remove it for 30 days.
In that list of 10 devices are items that have sat in a drawer for months and they also can’t be removed for 30 days.
As I’m about to spend a fortune on a new ipad I’d actually like to be able to listen to the music that I pay apple a fortune for. (to be honest it’s far too cheap but why ruin a good rant?)
Contact Apple support online? A boring answer, but they do try to help.
Just have. They reckon the new iPad will be ok.
We shall see.....
It didn't work.
Have to delete and forget to. click your name in Settings to access your devices on iCloud and remove them. Should sort it. Go to Find my, if it’s still there get rid of it too.
The 10 device max is a little weak as time goes on. Easy to hit if you are a power user.
The official advice is to use MDM tool
Like Jamf. If you do this you can manage all your devices centrally without limit or the use of email iTunes account. Big faf if you’re not actually using the other devices. You are better off removing and forgetting them from iCloud / find my.
They are removed from my iCloud account but still listed on Apple music.
Never heard of an MDM tool but will have a look.
