My flight to New York has been delayed from 10:30 until 15:00 tomorrow. Can I claim compensation? How do I claim?

Check moneysavingexpert website for pointers, and then the airline website.

Have you been given the reason for the delay?

If it's weather related you won't get reimbursed.

this is a coincidence but i logged on tonight because I have just found out an airline has brought forward our flights by 6.5 hours.

We were flying Eurowings (looking on review websites I wish I hadn't) to Austria in Feb 19.  Business class out (bizzarely it was cheaper than economy) and economy back.

They have kept the flight numbers the same (this seems to get them out of certain rules) but changed the outward leg to 90 minutes later (we can live with that) but also downgraded us to Prem economy. Seems I can get 30% of the outbound fare back because of this according to CAA website, although Eurowings fail to mention that in their email.

However, the return was schedued for 12.35pm departure from Austria and they have now moved that to 06.00!!  That would mean leaving our rental apartment at 01.00 to get there in time for the flight (two kids in tow!).

My question was going to be about rights to cancel the flights and book with another airline?  Most info I read talks about flight delays and compo, nothing really about bringing flights forward.  I don't want compo, I just want to cancel - anybody know if I have the right to do this?  Can't find anyhting in Eurowings T&Cs regarding 'significant time changes'.
