Doing my 1st home build ever!!!!
Building a do it all hardtail got fox forks and on one carbon 456 frame.
Anyone done this build before and any suggestions on drive 2x10 or 3x10 or the old fashioned 3x9 or any other componentry?
Dont want to spend a fortune has this will be my run around as i have a full suss for weekend stuff.

If I was building a bike from scratch, I'd definitely be looking at 10-speed. 2x10 or 3x10 really depends on what and where you ride.

Seems to be very popular
I ride in and around sheffield doing derbyshire once a week or twice in the summer.

Which run the best ive always had shimano deore never tried any others

Depends on tje hills you ride up surely? Just build the bloody thing and ride it. Will it matter if you have a granny ring you hardly use?
