So, we're meeting the out-laws in Oxford tomorrow, and we'll have a dog in tow. We'll need to go for lunch somewhere, and obviously the dog will need to come too. I'm assuming pubs are more likely to allow dogs in than resaurants/cafes, so any ideas/recomendations?
Not very imaginative, but if you're just ticking the box the Turf isn't a bad bet. Not sure on their dog policy but they have a decent amount of outdoor space.

Ta.
Been doing a bit of Googling, any opinions of the Kings Arms near the Bodleian (sp)?
Not too bothered about anything massively special, just reasonable food with some alright veggie options for the MiL
Was a favourite back in the day, seem to remember the food wasn't bad, but this advice is 20 years old I'm afraid. Plus we were more occupied with the beer than the scran back then 😉
I can't think of any nice pubs that do food but:
Maxwells, on Queen St over the top of French Connection, amazing burgers, and decent salads,
Or a nice spot is the restaurant at the top of the Ashmolean museum. Not sure what the food is like but great views.
Sorry, didn't see the. 'Dog friendly' bit, please ignore above.
