Going tomorrow as an away footie fan...who likes nice ales.
Brunswick near the train station is a great pub but not away fan friendly anymore...any recommendations folks?
Download the Good Beer Guide app.
Switch on the "Good Beer Guide Pubs Only" filter.
You can contact the pubs and ask if away fans are welcome.
Enjoy the match,we always had a great time away in Derby.

I was going to say The Brunswick, over the road from the rail station. A good choice of beers/ciders/spirits. Nice place, but, as it's right near the station, maybe they cant cope with the numbers when football fans arrive.
Yep the Brunswick is good. Or for Ye Olde Worlde Pub Experience, try the Dolphin up near the cathedral
Looking at The Bess, The Tap and the Exeter Arms...any good Derby folk?
The Victoria which is just around the corner < 100 metres from the Brunswick is a good ale pub.
And if you’re prepared to take a 5 minute walk through Bass Recreation ground and across the footbridge over the river there’s also The Smithfield.
These both will have home fans drinking there.
Exeter arms is pretty good too when I have been in there
Exeter arms is good but very small so can be busy, the Tap on the way from the Exeter to the Market Place is also a good choice. From there you can go to The Dolphin then head up towards St Marys/King Street to the Flower Pot which is always worth a visit. At kicking-out time in the 'Pot round the corner to the Bless (open until late but by no means a real ale pub) spent much of teenage years (18+ obvs) in the Bless. Good times.
All the pubs mentioned so far are good, also the Silk Mill opposite the Dolphin.
All of the above - Derby is overflowing with decent small breweries and pubs at the moment.
Got in the Brunswick ok and had a few Zenith IPAs - very drinkable.
Lost footie so went to the Tap and the Exeter Arms to forget about the 90 mins beforehand - both quite excellent too so cheers for a tips people.
