Some relatives want to visit this area in a few weeks. I'll probably be with them as I know it well.
They aren't the T4 campervan types. Any recommendations would be gratefully received.
An hotel or guest house, maybe near Conwy, Llandudno or surrounding area.
Thank you.

Budget ?

There is a lovely hotel (The Quay) in Deganwy, just across from Conwy with views across the estury and to the Castle. Not that cheap though, but a good base (we've stayed here). The Castle hotel in Conwy looks nice too.

I'd say somewhere down the Conwy valley would be really nice, less busy than the coastal towns and with hopefully great views

If you can travel a little further I can highly recommend the Pengwern Country House just outside Betws-y-coed. The lady who runs it (Gwawr) is lovely and makes a fab breakfast. It's just a really nice relaxing place to stay and well priced.

Thanks.
I know Deganwy, it sounds perfect.
As a small child we would climb over the railway bridge and the steam trains would go under us

They were considering the Bodelwyddan Castle hotel so that kind of budget / style would be good. They're specifically looking to stay close to the Llandudno area though else Bodelwyddan Castle would be their choice I think

As someone who now lives local either the Quay in Deganwy or Holiday Inn at surf Snowdonia. Before I moved back here we always stayed at the Quay, great base and opposite my old school.

juanking - do you know Y Llew Coch, Tyn-Y-Groes?
I think The Quay and Castle hotels are a little expensive for them. Everywhere we've looked the prices have risen significantly in the last couple of years.
