Wife & son bought me a craft beer one, son has a cadbury one, I've got my wife a smartess one with two bottles of gin to go with it 🙂

Kids have got some Cadbury ones - I don't have one as 1) I'm an Adult 2) I have 24/7 access to a calendar 3) which I don't need as we've paid money to whip our kids into a frenzy of excitement by giving them an advent calender with the added benefit of caffeine and sugar.
Being full STW ,every year we fill our Handmade cloth Advent pockets with unique and exciting small gifts.It is such a thrilling time.

It's become a bit of an office tradition with anyone who hasn't seen one before (yes such people exist) going from mockery to thinking it's actually pretty cool in about 15 sec.
A friend of ours has gotten sweajnr (3.5) a Thomas and Friends mini advent calendar... complete with 24 mini trains which will get lost; be trodden on etc etc.....
