I think people are getting a little carried away.

The guy was drunk, lost a fiver so couldn't get a kebab, and this pissed on his chips....which was all he could afford after losing the fiver.

Folks, my humblest apologies for getting people worried. A very ill conceived and ill worded post.

I am not intending any sort of self harm as I think that is what some folks may have been worried about.

The truth is I have had a recurrence of a physical health problem which dogged me throughout my thirties. I am genuinely worried about it but don't wish to say any more than that. Needless to say my mortality has been weighing on my mind in recent weeks while I await the inevitable referrals etc. Might turn out to be manageable / fixable.

Again, I feel very embarased about my very clumsily and opaquely worded post from last night. I had simply noted that a few pints had taken the edge off my anxiety about the situation.

Thanks to all who expressed concern.
