It works fine on my mobile. As a bonus I can zoom in and not see the ads.

If you do this, please give it a different URL so we aren't all inflicted with it. I hate it when sites give me some awful mobile version when my phone and tablet are quite capable of coping with a proper version.

This !

Please don't force a mobile version on me.

Viewing this on my mobile is totally fine. It's the only way I ever use STW and my phone can cope.

It works on my mobile too, but there is an app available called Puffin Browser which will allow you to view a site that uses Flash which usually doesnt work on mobile devices. I guess STW doesnt use Flash though which is why it works ok

Make it so I can post pictures from my phone.
Ps its more likely to be me at fault rather than any technology.

Well, all I know is what my web development friend tells me.
Rule number one for him is that the site should scale for the device it's being viewed on and that isn't the case for my phone.
Apparently it is possible to do this without buggering up tablet performance. But what do I know.

Works fine on Android. Open page, double tap to re-size text and it's fine.

I don't see a problem; I've been viewing it on an iPhone since I got an iP3, about six years ago. It scales fine, I just double-tap the text area and it fills the screen, just like this is on my iPad. There's no Flash, so all the ads display fine at full screen. I can't see why anyone would have a problem.

Regular view:

Double-tap view:

See, it just works! 😉

Countzero, what browser are you using in those screen shots ?
I don't have the tabs on mine.

Maybe my phone is crap but making a post seems very difficult - text box far wider than my screen and really laggy.

Oh well, meat/poison.

Get a different phone, nothing worse than s**t mobile version of website, especially when they force you onto them (happily viewed from a 3/4 year old phone... you can guess which one)

Fine on my iPhone and Samsung.

Probably a better tab for logging in?

Just get Opera Mini as your browser. Sorted.

First rule of web design (which I learned the hard way); don't believe what the web designer says, always check it with the users.

Mobile version is simply not necessary. I view this site more on my iPhone than anywhere else and it's perfect. Probably even better on a bigger phone or small tablet. 🙂

Neil, sorry, just caught up with this thread again, I'm using Safari, it's my default browser, on an iPad 3, iOS 6.0.1. I occasionally use others, but not often.

HTC Desire S here. Looks fine until I want to post, at which point I also get text disappearing off the edge of the screen. I just wait 'til I'm on the laptop.
