I noticed on here a good deal on Seat Leon estate (but was too late). That was via Carwow.
Any other recommendations to find out about great deals on new cars?
It's supposed to be a buyers market but you'd not think so talking to the sales teams.
Go to carfile.net, like carwow but much cheaper.
For my last 2 cars I have kept an open mind about what car I wanted but knew what my budget was. I then looked at various cars/dealers and some quoted silly prices and were not for moving (not desperate for a sale) but others really shifted on price (needed the sale). So I would narrow it down to one or 2 cars tell the dealer it was them or the other car and the best deal would get the sale. Last car was a Kia sportage but they were not playing when it came to change so I now have a seat ateca as the dealer really worked on the price/extras so got the sale. So if you are not too hung up on a certain car there are deals to be done, from my experience it’s just finding the dealer/salesman who needs the deal too.
Try Drivethedeal for a price. £15k for a 1.5Tsi Leon manual estate. Only downside is you aren't told which dealer is supplying the car until you go ahead. But it gets you another price to compare with Carwow.
Drive the deal, autoebid, carwow.
Owners clubs/forums can be worth checking too, there’s often a friendly dealer - eg for Renault Zoe you can get a price better than any of the broker sites.
