[Closed] Deadlift platform for garage gym.

Been lucky enough to pick up a second hand full cage squat rack for the gym garage. My garage floor is concrete, before bolting it down I'm considering having a platform that extents from it for deadlifts, or would a stand alone platform be better? Space is not a massive issue. Garage is 7mx7m.

Go homemade for the platform or purchase ready made? Anybody make their own platform and what material did you use? Any recommendations on purchasing one, brand etc.

didn't bother personally as I don't drop my deads 😎

alternative might be bumper plates, although they aren't particularly cheap unless you can find a 2nd hand bargain

I built my own for Olympic lifting, a few sheets of 18mm ply and some rubber matting...
