Yep, I will be. Opponent has a decent record, but it's all against nobodies. Haye will knock him out, I suspect.

Oh how the mighty... 🙂

Be interesting to see how he gets on though. It would be fun if he was still good and fit enough to have a go at some of the top guys.

True , but Haye hasn't fought for over 3 years so could have a bit of ring rust .

Oh, he's unstoppable when all his toes are working. Comparable to Ali, I'd say.

Boxing on free to view telly on a Saturday night? With Match of the Day after?

It's my 1970s childhood all over again!

Amateur boxing should be free to watch IMO. 😉

Haye will spark him in two, then claim hes better than everyone else out there..

In fairness I still see him beating that big lump fury if hes got anything left. He has a lot of redeeming to do in my eyes however...

interesting approach to training this time by maintaining weight rather than stay light and fast. I wonder if he can still keep up the workrate and speed with the additional weight. I think he'll want to finish early as if it drags on I reckon its going to be a bit of a war ( I hope it doesnt end the same way as Hatton)

Seen a few build up pieces, not a big fan of Haye in braggadocio mode but he seems a nice chap and a fantastic cruiser. If his heart's in the right place, it shouldn't be too tough a night for him - but fair play, don't think De Mori's a total wallflower, if Haye's not up for it he gonna get found out.

Di Mori must've thought he was fighting someone else. Standing still and waiting to get hit in the head by David Haye isn't very good tactics.

geez I was expecting more.. makes fraudly look good.

Haye looked huge in the ring and I have to say Macguigan lifting Haye up on his should was pretty impressive

I think there was a fairly evident gulf in class there.

Did not seem that ring rusty bit hardly the stiffest of tests

My wife said... That bloke is going to wipe the floor with Haye. 😀 He didn't offer anything! Was like a punch bag poor lad.

I know nothing about boxing and thought after about 50secs that it would be done within that first round, the guy just stood there.

I think he got a real shock when haye landed his first big punch and realised that he was out of his league

To give haye his dues, he was lauded for not fighting a nobody. He wouldn't have been spoilt for choice in opponents anyway, fighting someone who can't offer a big pay packet and will do nothing for their ranking isn't attractive to the thrusters. Haye was a very good fighter so there is more than a little risk there, all for very little reward.
It's difficult to criticise him due to his opponent, who had only been KO'd once previously.

Haye can throw a ****ing punch can't he? OOF!
