Juice indeed.

This may come (cum) as a surprise to you.... but some people don't like Ricky Gervais!

Watch how they delight in this most interesting fact....

Big fan of the office and thought it ended perfectly so wasn't particularly looking forward to this but that was funny

I loved the Office, great television.

Hope this has a similar feel to it rather than some polished American shite.

Have you got any footage of the mousetrap incident? That does sound funny

Is he the only original cast member who has taken part in this? That might be a good indicator of what's coming up?

He was funny for about 5 minutes 15 years ago.

Are people suggesting he's actually done something funny since the office?

Hmmm..

The Office was funny because of the interplay of Brent with the other characters, and very often the strength of the other characters even without him around.

Hopefully funnier than the Alan Partridge film, but it doesn't look that promising.

Extras was pretty good, if only for the sight of Ronnie Corbett sniffing coke.

Never used to like him, until I watched Derek - I cried at that more times than I have to admit.

Went back and watched some stuff with a new appreciation. It's all horses for courses

A funnier show would be charting Ricky Gervais' life and career since The Office.

Lots of cameo appearances by celeb mates, chats about his diet regime, his masterwork 'Derek' and charity work for big cats.

You forgot to mention the flop An Idiot Abroad

Or the other flop Life's Too Short

Hosting the Golden Globes 3 times was right failure eh?

Or the 16 films he's done since the Office

Or the multiple stand up DVDs he released since

Yip, his career's gone right down the toilet since The Office 🙄

My brother was at UCL at the same time as Gervais, stayed in the same hall of residence. Apparently he was not well thought of *(understatement).

I have never seen the 'genius'

But many others have. It takes all sorts
Edit:
* amongst my brother and his mates at least. I think 'self satisfied' best summed up their opinion.

I've liked a few of the other things Gervais has been involved with - the radio show, Idiot Abroad etc.

The cast list from Wiki doesn't reek of class though. Here are the first four names...

Ricky Gervais as David Brent
Doc Brown as Dom Johnson, Brent's band mate
Andy Burrows as drummer of Foregone Conclusion
Peter Andre

😯
