Well, dashcam / windscreen track actually. I'd like to stick the thing to a part of the windscreen that has shading, a pattern of slightly-raied black dots. The sucker doesn't stick for long. Are there adhesives that might help? Super glue seems a bit permanent.
You could use one (or more) of the double sided sticky pads that are used to attach numberplates to the bumper

Anyone know a good way to remove them neatly and completely (acetone is my first guess, followed by razor blade gasket scraper)?
On mine, I think they are baked into the glass rather than being something stuck on top. YMMV.
