I live next to a local park, the entrance gates are at the top of my street.
Yesterday morn, my neighbour was standing at the gates with his dog (staffie, but a nice one), I approached with my dog (patterdale) and there was a cat in the middle of the entrance and it wouldn't let us out.
His dog was wanting to have a go at it, but even when he let it get very close the cat stood its ground, we looked like a right pair trapped in the park by a cat.
Turns out it's attacked quite a few dogs.
It's the hardest cat I've ever seen!

Get kudos/shibboleth/whatever else forum name he uses telephone number.
When in trouble he'll/she'll/whatever will come and help you A team style and sniper that mother into orbit.

(I however do love cats after over 20 years of being a slave to the daft things and wish no harm to them. )

staffie, but a nice one

I think you will find they are all nice untill humans screw them up

The cat I grew up with attacked the milkmans Jack Russel and made a right mess of it.

I love staffies, used to have a bull terrier as a youth and if I had the time and space I would have another.

Staffies are the best dogs ever. My mum has one. So much fun. Loves kids, long walks and her best friend. If only a white dog didn't lose so much hair.

Staffies shed like crazy, the ammount of hair a dog with a very short coat could shed baffled me, I would look at him and wonder why he wasnt bald 😆

Kick it and see how long it stays put. Kick it hard enough and it'll go away without any effort from the cat.

All staffies are nice by default.
