Not much happens, very very slowly...........but I'm enjoying it though. At least I think I am. 😐

Not sure who attacked Jessie - either Julian's covering for Masterson (even though Masterson has an alibi) or the other way round.....
But we do know Julian missed his train to Paris, even though he says he didn't.
Will the Masons end up having something to do with it?
Could turn out to someone completely random though - any ideas?

Are we going to hear about what happened to the deported manager from episode one?

Why does Louis keep being told he needs to get out of the country?

Did the Germans really stick little Swastika flags into their Fairy Cakes?

Why is 90% of the programme set in a corridor?

Anone else bothering with this, or is it just me?

I've only watched the first episode, which was much more pedestrian than I had hoped. Not convinced that the music is entirely era-authentic either. I think the corridor scenes are emphasising the segregation that was prevalent. Trying to like it but not finding the characters very convincing. Preferring Blandings, maybe I'm just shallow
