Oh, and THM, your lot are going to eviscerate themselves over Brexit, and be in the wilderness for a long, long time.
If I were you I'd stop trying to defend the indefensible on here and crack on with riding the gravy train and hiding away as much as possible in the meantime.
Junkyard - lazarus
wasnt aimed at you it was aimed at THM's learning curve ...though it would seem it would work with you too 😀
Ah, I see! You might be right too! 😀

"Best word I've read in a thread today award!"
Particularly as it's applied to the Torys... 🙂
Oh, and THM, your lot
Sorry to disappoint but I don’t have a “lot”.

Good job you are not me then. Your approach sounds quite distasteful to me. But each to their own. Is you nickname bisto?
Edit. Unlike others I find no pleasure in a politicised police force. Seems like I’m in a minority on that judging by posts ^
Ah yes danny.... I well remember the police used as a paramilitary force during the miners strike.
To be fair thm for someone who denies being a Tory you do come across as a Tory. A David Cameron type of bloke.
Sorry to disappoint but I don’t have a “lot”.
Pull the other one.
No, two wrongs don't make a right. It makes two wrongs. But also reflect that if he wasn't already lying (sorry, making misleading statements) about what he knew then it wouldn't have taken a retired detective to disclose what he knew to be fact in the first place. So once again we have the 'allegations' of looking at porn, which he still denies, and also the lying. And the case of harassment of a researcher (that he also denies, spot a theme here?) where the investigation has said that they find her testimony pretty believable.
Whether it's political or not - maybe, maybe it's just someone who's concerned that he is continuing to deny sexually harassing a researcher when there's a building body of evidence against him. So while two wrongs don't make a right, let me also suggest that 'what goes around comes around'. People are being called to answer for their past behaviour - something a few others might care to reflect on.
What do I need to reflect on TOJ. Unlike those who claimed that Green was stitched up, I have not defended him.
Instead I made a comment on the fact that people were amused by politicised police actions which I am against. The nature of the responses were interesting weren’t they?
I once had the piss taken out of me on this forum for being on the receiving end of the Mets finest with big sticks - something about too many whacks around the head, probably true as i can't remember who said it.
I do recognise karma though...
Where did I say you? Do you have a guilty conscience? Do go on....
I'm talking about all the other 'misleaders' - Davis for example. I can't believe that he's going to escape consequences for his 'statements' about his impact assessments. In due course I still think others will be reminded for the bus. And that's without several other 'improper behaviour' allegations that rumour suggests may eventually be asked to account (I think there were 25, weren't there?)

Good point - checking your posting history you are clearly equally scathing of all sides rather than favouring one.
Not true. Some are worse than others clearly.
Not being tied to any makes this easier to see

Now you are taking the piss.
I've got a grudging admiration for the sheer brass on display if nothing else.
I would also argue that the police 'outing' a Tory is an example of them being less politicised, not more.
Rather than doing their masters' bidding and putting 'deep cover'* agents into knitting circles because one of the members was once seen on a CND rally, for example.
*Sometimes enhancing that cover and 'living the life' by lying to, then shagging a member of the knitting circle.
