Woolfe says "I am feeling brighter". UKIP- the only party where hospitalising blows to the head make them brighter.
Yes they do, I lived there.
But then you probably think we all live in an Ealing Comedy.
lived
Past tense, but never mind. In the time I am currently spending in the US, I've yet to see, read or hear that opinion. In fact, far from it. The overwhelming response to my accent/nationality is positive. Americans like the UK. Lots. They don't think we're a bunch of "inbreads".
Oh, and if you want to "string an intelligent conversation together", perhaps you could try and remember that the correct spelling is inbred. HTH.
Europe and the US think we're a bunch of inbreads
I worked in the US and europe for years. I've never heard that before.
Are your sure it's not just you?
After Brexit they can only out stupid us if they elect Trump
Most americans just seem to like the british accent ime
actually Im pretty sure the whole of Europe is laughing at as now
maybe we are all inbreads after all
I'm not, I'm gluten intolerant.
Pretty mild in European terms I'd have thought. The Italians like a good brawl in Parliament.
I'm gluten intolerant.
Bloody baguette bigot
bet May is glad she got her speech out the day b4 the great kipper meltdown
And Saint Jezza must be glad no one will be paying any attention to his [s]appointing his ex shags and whitewashers to nice jobs[/s] reshuffle.
I lived in NY for 3 years and worked for an American company for 7 years and my wife did for 12. Americans most certainly do not think of Brits as inbreds, they have a lot of respect for us. Not least as their constitution is based upon Magna Carta. Of course they love the fact they won the war of Independence and have replaced us as the World's greatest power. You only need to look at Brits place in their culture and their cooperation in security matters where they respect our intelligence services and relationships.
They do however see the Europeans as by and large workshy lefties and they have little time for the EU which they rightly see as a weak and protectionist organisation.

😆
As above you don't know what you're talking about, my brother in law lives in the USA and he says they love the 'Brits' and don't even understand the EU yet alone care if we're leaving it!US think we're a bunch of inbreads
UKIP are doing their very best to change our image globally and in the USA

USAToday have figured out what they are all about tho (jamby firing off complaint to editor as I type this?)

Funnily enough, my American wife disagrees strongly with this. She did work in Germany for 5 years though. Even she can see you're full of shit.
When I was over there just after that mishap with the referendum, all I kept getting asked is "why would you do that??!".
They were definitely laughing at us, pretty embarrassing really.

Colleague of mine that works the american market a lot got this question so much that he started answering "You know how there's a load of texans that want to secede from the union? That."
No. They don't.
Yes they do, I lived there.
You're both debating what the entire populace of the USA think of us, given that any one state is comparable in size to our entire country?
Really?
they have little time for the EU which they rightly see as a weak and protectionist organisation
Protectionist????sounds right up your and Trumps street, natural allies. They (the EU) will be banning people moving freely around next. Heavan forbid!!!

We desperately need to centre left party to take a mildly populist stance on immigration.
Until then many people will feel forced to vote for nut jobs like these.

Funny I thought the populist vote was for Brexit, mainly due to immigration concerns!

Well, 52% of 72% did and many of those were duped so didn.t have immigration as the key point, Jamba didn't vote on the racist ticket, did he?

I do know people who voted leave on a non-racist viewpoint. In terms of the whole population I think the racist lot aren't the majority
I do think that those who voted leave are still f****** idiots but that is my own opinion and I stand by it.
We desperately need to centre left party to take a mildly populist stance on immigration.
Oh god this x1000 - I feel very disenfranchised as I have no one to vote for due to my own politcal stance being centralist.
We don't need to be emulating America and having two right-wing parties where even the 'commie' one is more right wing than the conservatives over here!

When I made this point 3 years ago I was shouted down and called all sorts of names.
I voted for control including control on immigration. Why should my Indian relatives be at a disadvantage to a white person from Europe who has no cultural or political links to the UK ?

May I see the reference and the thread please as I fear you may have misremembered the actuality

No what?????

Do you have your own knife or want to borrow mine to cut off your nose?
Edit: No shit, i genuinely facepalmed reading that Jamby
Do you have your own knife or want to borrow mine to cut off your nose?
Indeed, as someone involved in arranging visas for both EU and non-EU employees, why we would want to add extra cost and much more red tape and bureaucracy is beyond me.
I voted for control including control on immigration
No, you voted to leave the EU.
No, you voted to leave the EU.
No, he voted to put £350m per week into the NHS.
What happens if he forgot his E11 card? Does he have to pay?
That is a *very* personal [s]hand[/s] shake from Nige there.

Well getting back to what happened, a lawyer presumably right of centre took an ex military man outside to 'sort things out' which itself is a total act of stupidity on behalf of the Lawyer.
Now the ex military guy, genuine enough straight talker was another of the legions of ex labour types that were let down by the so called centre left party becoming frankly more right of centre than the actual right wing party. So it's hardly surprising that ideological breakdowns are occurring within UKIP as it struggles to find a raison d'etre.
It also gives the lie to the belief it was entirely the right and nut jobs that caused Brexit, Brexit has occurred precisely because of New Labour and the Blair & Brown years, what with them rubbing the rights nose in multiculture, opening the doors to immigration to emulate the USA, then Brown signing up at Lisbon. The final straw obviously the banking crisis and the lack of interest in the working poor and the subsequent effects of the austerity programme, that's what resulted in the scapegoating of immigrants rather than New labour, Tory & Libdem MP's and Bankers. That and an absurd lack of ethics and truth in modern journalism, forcing otherwise decent people to behave equally indecently.
Mike Hookem for leader! Woolfe has come out of this looking a prat, so on second thoughts maybe he should be leader.
I wonder how many UKIP MEPs are peeved that we Brexited? They'll have to get a job of work now!
great video of Right Hookem trying to climb a fence in Calais

Oh it's THAT guy. I was talking to my dad about this the other night, he couldn't work out who Hookem was. "Defence guy" nope "ex royal engineers" nope "ex labour feller" nope. I should have just said, "Climbs fences like he's auditioning for the chuckle brothers"
I bet he can't wait to go to an english hospital, with an extra £ 350m a week, he will be back on his feet in no time.
From the BBC article.
Conservative MEP Sajjad Karim will lead the parliamentary probe.
I fear that Farage has got a headstart on the probing.
Steven Woolfe quits, claiming that UKIP is in a death spiral. I like watching this party's absolute madness almost as much as I like watching Donald Trump's lol 🙂
Shame these ****s couldn't have done this about 6 months ago.
Steven Woolfe, who had been running to be the next leader, told the BBC there was "something rotten" in the party.
Yeah. Its members.
Awe, has Mr "it wasn't me occifer, look at me andz" stepped down and made it look like something else was bothering him?
Shirley this is what that gonk from Guildford called for Treason to be brought back, innit.
Pathetic.
^^^^ Nah, that sounds a bit too normal for a ukip leader
