I have recently had my windscreen replaced on my car, to enable the removal of the old windscreen, I had to peel my DAB Windscreen aerial off. The aerial has lost lots of its stick due to this process and isn't sticking cleanly to the new windscreen and DAB reception has been impacted, I get a lot more crackling then before.
Does anyone have any suggestions for something I could do or use to re stick the aerial to my windscreen?
Use sticky pads for attaching rear view mirrors, halfords has them.
Duct tape. Job done.
There are sticky pads available for rear-view mirrors, which ought to work, the antenna is a lot lighter.
A magnetic roof antenna might be a good alternative, I’ve got one as a replacement for the stick-on windscreen antennae that came with my Kenwood unit, and it made a huge difference to reception quality.
