I live nearby in helston, coastal paths are rideable, not much in the way of lanes, nice ride around the low pool in helston though, and nice ride from mullion to portleven on the coastal path

Thanks georgecats, is the pool the one behind Loe Bar? Penrose Walk? If so I remember it well, at least the coastal end as went to make a painting- but never explored far - d'you think it's possible to easily get a recumbent trike round there?

Know the guy that looks after Penrose and they have done a ton of path and bridleway work. Main estate track is good enough for a recumbent trike, can't remember which big gates open, but the pedestrian ones are 4' from memory.
On the Lizard, used to ride coast path on the west, Trelowarren woods a bit cheeky, some woods near Constantine and some above Gweek.

Hi malvern rider, the lizard side of the low pool wouldn't be suitable, but you could push across low bar, head for gunwalloe the ride around culdrose, it has a cycleway/pavement

timber, georgecats, very helpful much appreciated thankyou 😀

As well as Loe Bar have only visited The Lizard very briefly before (to collect an MTB, funnily enough) so [s]quite[/s] very excited about a longer stay and looking to explore a lot more this time.
