The Royal Dean Forest CC is running a Western league CX race this coming Sunday in Coleford. Just up the road from all the trails. Come and watch, support or even ride. Website details etc below.

Well that’s a pretty cool venue! Not too techy, but I could imagine in the wet or even just on the fresh grass in the morning it would have been a bit of a slog!
It’s a ridiculous thing to comment on, but the taping of the course was really good. Must have taken a bloody age! Corners with lines just where you needed and the chicane up at the top - so good!
Mega organisation job by all involved, thanks! The cheer squad was so strong I almost felt like my mid pack finish was something to celebrate! XD
Thanks for the comments. I'll pass them on to the organiser. We had a great response . Even the mayor is already asking for a repeat. The lines will repair themselves in a few weeks or less. It was fun heckling/cheering/lying. Got my old ARP rattle out to add to it. First Aid corner (far side of the field with a fast drop in) was harmless. Took us a day to lay it out plus a bit in the morning but in came down in an hour with two Land Rovers to help. Same time, same place last year.
