The kids chose his name.........Oakley !!!

not sure of his lines to be honest, he comes from a good one though as his father and grandfather were both field trial champs several years running!!

Youv've got 3 chances, ketamine, chloroform and none.

Our's is supposedly an ex prison dog. As far as we can tell they managed to get him to wee or poop only in one yard as he won't do it anywhere other than a garden, and gets visibly uncomfortable if you take him on a long walk!

In all other respects he's as mad as a hatter and the only word he understands is 'out' (although walkies, dinner etc are fine) but 'out' results in 5 minutes of bonkersness followed by sitting at the door waiting. TV theme tunes/credits have the same effect.

SS are great dogs, they'll follow / lead you anywhere on the bike and run for miles...

Here's my pair on a short local ride - please excuse the editing, I was just trying out the new camera and software...

Dottie says hello.

She enjoyed the garden at that age too.

I'd like a springer as a friend for Dottie but got a firm NO from Mrs MM. 🙁

If your first class will be anything like ours then it will be carnage. 😀

Well you got 2 photos, so that means he must have been sat down for about 2/250th of a second, which is pretty good going for a Springer puppy.

Seems like a good time to introduce Eithin, she is now about 14 weeks but this picture was taken a month ago.... probably the last time she was still enough! 😉

Most Excellent Springers are. I've had two in the past, both Brothers and one bonkers as, the other soft as..

Watch your sofa arms and curtains that are "just in reach", carpets that have tinyest of frays and doors and windows that you think are secure, when actually to a Spaniel they're mere objects to be knocked over/out.

Tyres, bike tyres, spares hanging up, they'll be gone, chewed up into shreds, so too cables, so too saddles, shoes, smelly bib shorts, socks, bed linen, dangly anything really.

You'll never calm a Springer down, nor should you, get him outside and in the woods/fields chasing stuff..

Have fun in that part chewed left shoe that you used to have a right one that matched it pre Springer..

Hhahahahahaa
