Season premiere tonight at 9pm on Sky Comedy. Any other Larry fans in the house?

After getting used to the new HD experience and the long break I thought S9 was superb and can't wait to recognise more of my inner Larry

Oh yes, I thought it was due to start on Sunday and have kept a vigil waiting for the new series. Thanks for the heads up. Can't wait

I thought last season was prettay good (fatwa) and it's still get life in it yet, in fact the critics were predicting it's demise in season 8 but that was a great season too, it had 'palestinian chicken' which was an all time classic and the season finale with Michael j fox

Plus there's more emphasis on Leon which is clearly a strength although funkhauser will be sorely missed

Plus season 9 had this great scene in, amongst many others:

Was chuckling about beloved aunt just the other day. Can´t beleive there are 10 seasons - think Ionly saw 3 or so.
Worth trying to catch up?Or are the middle seasons a bit of a desert?

I sat down my then girlfriend now wife to watch the whole box set until she 'got' Larry which would be spousal abuse if it wasn't the greatest comedy of all time imho

In answer to the last post, there aren't any lacklustre seasons really, perhaps the odd episode but I'm of the opinion it's kept up its standard, the main criticism is that larrys character has got a bit knowing and arch but it's always been funny AF

Consensus is that season 8 was a drop off of sorts. However, it had great episodes in. Season 6 introduced Leon and for that we can be grateful. And season 7 was the Seinfeld reunion which if you're a Seinfeld fan was a box of delights. And season 9 was definitely up to par.

Nope, according to this superfan there are no flabby seasons so get catching up my friend 🙂

I thought it was excellent! It looks like the series theme will be Larry's #metoo moment and we ll have to see how the feud with mocha Joe will develop. Nice to see Leon too. Biggest laugh for me was the MAGA hat shenanigans

It was a shame for Cheryl to take a backseat though. It was always best when he was given stick from her.

I’ve never really watched it before but gave it a go today, quite possibly one of the funniest things I’ve seen! It’s so clever and there’s so much going on, it’s brilliant. The talcum powder bit nearly finished me off!!! Looking forward to the next one now.

yeah its the second best comedy of all time so every season is gold if you ask me.  season 9 was perhaps not pure gold but still very good.

Susie's hat was funny too, when I first saw it I thought I would've done a Jerry sadowitz pisstake but Larry beat me to it with his president Lincoln pisstake. And did you see Susie's face when Jeff laughed a bit too much at Cheryl's comparing Susie's dress to the curtains? Haha

Criticisms - Larry was a bit too arsehole to begin with, and scones are meant to be soft! But soon after that you side with him against mocha Joe. I cringed when he broke the selfie stick at the start as it's too cartoon character Larry and a bit lazy/easy target

However, the MAGA hat as a person repellent was genius, and then turn it on its head for the angry biker!

Curb is my all time favorite show - even my dog is called Larry David!!

Didnt know S10 was showing on Sky tho!! but i have watched the first two eps via some less legal medium!!

a stonking return to form!!

after such a long wait, i was a bit let down by S9 and all the Ayatollah stuff.

but these first couple of S10 are some of the best ever!!

The first season is noticeably a lot rougher, the camerawork is a bit amateurish and dare I say some of its a bit dated? I'm thinking of the godawful shirt that Larry and ted danson fight over. But it's still great and you just need to watch from the start for the whole Larry/Jeff/Susie/Cheryl dynamic

Oh and watch out for stupid aunt, car wash c**t and krazee eyez killah. Oh and the godlike funkhauser

My personal favourite season is probably 'the producers' one, is it season 3?
