When I did LeJog as a 16 year old, breakfast each day was a box of cereal. Lay on its side, cut open largest face, peak open seam of waxy packet, poor in a pint of milk - munch. Best way to eat cereal.

Don't remember if they were 500g or 750g, I think 750.

Only person on that ride not to loose (or gain) weight. Guess I got the fuelling right.

Disagree with pouring milk straight in ..they will go soggy ..

Grab a handful straight from the box to gob..take a slurp from the pint of milk in a glass you have to hand ..and repeat .

Every mouthful is a crunchy experience ..

Having eaten so many Corn Flakes, you should now experience greatly reduced levels of dyspepsia and masturbation

Can easily eat a whole box in one sitting (1kg), have a tub of then every lunchtime (eating them now actually).

Does it make me a monster that I eat them dry? I also have a bowl of dry Weetabix most morning too. Don't like the texture of wet cereals 😝

Maybe it's normal to have it with no milk or anything, just dry, crumbled Weetabix. Nearly all of my friends call me a weirdo for it though, some even turn away in disgust 😲

I know two people who spread margarine on it.

One of them also adds marmite.

I'm not sure if they're more or less deviant than you; I imagine that eating a bowl of dry Weetabix would just suck all of the moisture out of my head, leaving it a shrunken little husk.

I'd rather eat my own shite than eat cereal, tasteless pub floor covering. In fact, I'd rather eat Ton's shite than eat it. 🙂

Do Kellogg’s support the conservatives or seek the destruction of the ginger ape? Just need to check before I comment.

I can't eat cornflakes in any form - Thing is, they really really get stuck in your teeth, don't they?

Do you pick the bits out with your fingernail, or brush straight after?

How big was the box though?

Was it as big as my sons box of Coco Pops?

Frosties or Crunchy Nut, tough decision! But then I like vegemite on toasted olive bread, so I clearly have superior taste…

I've been off cereal for a year or so as dairy and me are not best buddies and I've not learned to like the alternatives much.

Crunchy nut cornflakes + swiss muesli (but not that no added sugar floor sweeping stuff) + a swamping in milk is (was) cereal nirvana but eat it quick before it goes soggy. 😀

I’d rather eat my own shite than eat cereal, tasteless pub floor covering.

I’ve eaten some pretty tasteless ‘foodstuffs’ over the years, principally anything porridge-like. Crunchy Nut, on the other hand, is really very tasty. It’s my standard daily breakfast.

And I don’t find they get stuck in my teeth, any more than any other fibrous food - anything with coconut is guaranteed to let me keep eating bits of it for hours afterwards.

just eaten a full box with 2 pints of milk.

Tell me that was a 1kg box! I can make one of those last a couple of weeks!

Aldi’s “Golden Puffs” are the closest I have found to proper Sugar Puffs... off to get a bowlful now!

Crunchy Nut Flakes are the cereal equivalent of Hobnobs’ status as The Devil’s Biscuits.

One bowl simply leads to another until either the box is empty or all the milk is gone. 😱

Weetabix, butter and cheese for me. Plenty of butter so it isn't too dry. Prefer a crumbly Wensleydale/Lancashire/Cheshire.
