Daaarn Saarf to watch the mighty Palace next weekend, not been to the old stomping ground for years.
So, where's good for dinner on a Saturday night?
We'll consider all sorts of places and cuisines, so what do you recommend?
As always, all replies welcome
Alex (Palace Fan)
If you like value family run but not super plush then Lorenzos for Italian or A Torre for Portuguese, both on the triangle in cp not selhurst. What game you going to?

This place is always popular with punters - very quirky, lots of atmosphere and very reasonably priced, Haven't been for a while mind. And nowhere near Selhurst Park.
The whole South End of Croydon High Street/A23 is full of eateries, you are spoilt for choice really. All near Central Croydon but not near Selhurst Park.
The Westow Hill area of Crystal Palace is closer to Selhurst Park and has a few nice places including Thai restaurants but less choice than South End Croydon, and as it's the other end of Croydon to me I don't often venture up there so can't remember the precise names/places.
Btw :

All walking distance from East Croydon train station, about 20 or so minutes.
We're staying at E Croydon, so I'll have a look down the High St. towards Sth Croydon and sure to find something. That was always the place when I was "lucky" enough to live there.
Thanks all for the help
Alex
PS, Neil, we're going to the Southampton FA Cup game. Almost impossible yo get tickets these days.
