I wasn't old enough at the time to fully appreciate the "scene" so I would say a lot of my exposure to it came from MTV and tape number packs so probably more know.

My previous criticism was way too harsh. KLF's What time is love was an absolutely huge anthem at the first raves. A lot of the more commercial stuff from that period still makes me nostalgic for those times when dance music and raves really felt like some sort of revolution. Dunno if kids will ever get to experience that kind of thing again. Shame.
