You can only eat one type for the rest of your silly life.

I've not got another 9 packs in the cupboard.

Talking of Pringles, someone bought me a tube of these the other day.

Pringles normally score low in my eyes, but these are basically pizza flavoured. PIZZA FLAVOURED CRISPS*!!

I did the lot in a day.

i presume that we're including how they stand up in a crisp butty? This has to be a major consideration. Especially if added cheese singles are involved

There's only one thing that'll cut it....

I'd get sick of one flavour forever.

Which for me leaves the one failsafe, perfect crisp:

Well in the last two years Germany has seen a crisp flavour revolution....

For years all I have known is paprika, salt, paprika, Currywurst, paprika and Hungary (which is like paprika, but with more paprika).

Now the likes of Kettle Chips and Tyrell's are available German brands have begun to experiment. Now there is Oriental, hot paprika, salt and vinegar, African and bbq.

Even Kettle Chips now have a paprika flavour specialty produced for Germany.

Le French also need to learn how to make better crisps . I iz very disapoint every ski trip to see the same boring brands in most of the 'huit a hiut' outlets

For me.- Walkers Chicken and Thyme .Yummy with big double IPA style beers I find terribly addictive

Thegreatape - those got my interest, but apart from being silly expensive and only available online - what are they like?! 4mm thick crisps?!

Genuinely thinking about having a punt, but do they actually crunch or just break into shards and lacerate your mouth?

Edit: agree co-op crisps are awesome, but plain salted for me. Better than Tyrells, which is ironic considering they make them 🙂

No-one mentioned Burt's Firecracker Lobster? Just needed sayin.

Co-op (Tyrells) Cheese and Spring Onion are v tasty too. But the salt and chardonponcey vinegar ones are too salty and vinegary. Walkers salt and vinegar are always the ones to best.

Best cheese and onion snack ever made were Smiths 'Fangs'. A very long time ago.

I found them at Tebay services on the M6 so everything was expensive, but they were the perfect accompaniment to a spicy pork pie with onion chutney. They're huge, and they do crunch as described. Certainly there was no discomfort from eating them, just pleasure. They reminded me of Mackays crisps if you've ever had those (possibly only found in Scotland) but a bit less salty and three times the size and thickness.

Unlike Singletrackmind, I love French crisps. I'd happily just eat the basic ready salted ones forever; however, they need to be enjoyed post-surf and accompanied by several stubbies of continental lager whilst sat in the dappled shade of a pine forest in Les Landes. So I'll have to become a beach bum - quel dommage!

edit. I'm now off to testcos to find crisps you fvcK£R5!

Co-op ready salted is correct. Salt & vinegar is a vulgar flavouring; originally intended to disguise cheap oils used for feral crisps made from potatoes that were rejected even by their mother.

Just ate a "share" bad of Kettle Chips Balsmic Vinegar flavour. 100% my favourite. Unless, unless I have a beer in hand, in which case their cheese and red onion.

I love crisps and like to eat most flavours, however, for some reason any flavour that isn't ready salted repeats in me for the rest of the day. This is most disappointing.

So for me it's any salted crisp with a good crunch. Usually kettle chips.

Whilst technically a corn snack and not a crisp these were the most popular when I was at school, probably partly down to only being 10p a bag.

We've got a free canteen at work, a feature of which is about 10 varieties of crisps on tap at all times. Frazzles are winning currently, swiftly followed by the Branstons mini cheddars. No poncy ones in though.

Scampi Fries?

Come the revolution, he'll be the first against the wall!
Mini Cheddars are irresistible, they're a bit like proper Digestive biscuits, once I get started on a packet, there's really no stopping!
Good thing they're little packets.
Otherwise any sweet chilli crisps, chorizo, proper mature cheddar and onion will do, depending on whatever the pub happens to have behind the bar...
