aye, dumbfounded- last time I looked they were off to lunch at 11-2, thank god they're now over the 45/46 run hurdle.

Flintoff the backbone of the innings again.

It really beggars belief that a team of professionals can collapse in this way. Even against bowlers on fire, on a collapsing pitch, each man that goes out to the middle starts the innings afresh. Instead of digigng in and trying to settle, there's a mentality at times that seems to say 'I'm further down the order, so I'm going to achieve less than the man before me'. Five players faced 4 or fewer balls - even against this level of bowling, 3 of those players had the ability to hold up the game for a while.
