what's your favourite??
Looking forward to a simple fresh cream finger with a quick brew before hitting the trails tonight.
Favourite for me has to be either a Bavarian or Custards slice, I'm also quite partial to a big puffed up coffee choux bun or eclair.
Mmmm.... Cake
Cream tea, Scone, Cream, Jam on top in the correct fashion 8)
or a box of chocolate eclairs . .
or Profiter rolls
or a cream slice . . I need help.
Stolen from the work fridge. Free and immoral, mmmmmmmm.

But that's not just cream that's inside....
Cream scone............aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh................
But that's not just cream that's inside....
Cream roulette, even better!
Cream scone.
M&S vanilla slice.
Profiteroles.
Greggs Cream Belgian bun ftw.
Haven't seen one in a while but a Cream, Apple and blackcurrent turnover.
I like those cream slice things with thin layers of pastry & icing on top. When you bite into them, the pastry squeezes the cream out & it goes everywhere.
EDIT - yes, one of those ^^^^^^^
Profiteroles, with tons of choc sauce
Scones with cream & jam.....
Mmmmmmmm.......!
Profiteroles and eclairs are good but I remember a delight from my youth when we used to visit Germany. A Windbeutel. It was basically a thin sliver of puff pastry with a massive dome of whipped cream on top. Mmm.
Can I just point out that Birds are based in Derby!
D'Oh!
Dopey southerner here, it's my only excuse.
Good cake though 🙂
APF
I know someone who works in the bakery. He can make a thousand scones no problem but ask him to make just six and he's completely flummoxed!
Lactose intolerant.......
Scones with strawberry jam and lashings of clotted cream. I may be biased though.
Coffee choux buns from the bakery in Brecon are a fairly common occurrence.
Stack of profiteroles for dessert though.
Ordered a Cream tea from the Black Country museum and it came with squirty cream 👿
I'm surprised a black country cream tea isn't a pint of stout with a lively head
