I'm fine but my car isn't looks like it could be a write off. Ford fusion , nice roomy boot space for the bike and kit. Sad to see it go. I will have around £2000 to spend on a new shuttle any suggestions?

Oh yes- I still got the odd call claiming to be on 'behalf of your insurer' years after mine and I didn't even go through my insurer/I dealt only with the other drivers insurer.

If you liked the Fusion why not a late plate MK1 Focus?

is it repairable after write-off if you know the engine, components etc? i.e. buy off insurer, get repaired, re-insure (need to watch what write-off category it is though...)

Wait for assessment and then the phone call that offers a cheque.

Haggle and don't forget to take off any excesses (if you have any).

I was offered £700 and ended up with £1100 for an old banger.
