I hope it was none of the many Edinburgers on here that had to be rescued and then got fined today. They would have been better lying low for 8 hrs
The tide times are always there before you cross

should've chucked a torch, tent and some sarnies and left the ****ers overnight

I really don't understand why people need rescued from crammond island.

Just leave them for 6 hours!

I cycled out to Dalmeny House and back for my exercise yesterday.
Thought that was the lifeboat I saw going out!

6hrs out there would be a far better life lesson in general.
I am genuinely not being a dick saying that btw, I think people in general are too reliant on ‘someone else’ at the slightest hint of a problem.

Problem is dafties wont stay put on the islaand and try to wade trough the water/incoming tide to get back to mainland and then get into difficulties - The coastguard/lifeboat wont leave them on the island for this reason
