Anyone recommend a reliable seller for Cr2032 batteries?
Brought some Maxells off ebay and they don't seem to work.
Most odd. Reading 3.25 volts on a volt meter but just don't work when I've tried them in a couple of different devices.

I had same problem with a card of 10 Maxell all dead. Apparently there are lots of counterfeit on eBay and Amazon.

Went with "proper Amazon" Varta and they seem ok. Then I discovered you can get them in Poundland.

The Poundland ones seem to be old stock; they work but they don't last as long as others. For mail order I use http://www.smallbattery.company.org.uk/

I've used https://www.buyabattery.co.uk for 2032s, and when something went wrong once they gave good customer service.

What about Boots, not the cheapest but ok if you only want one or two and seem to work fine for me.

I buy a pack of 20 at a time, which are for medical devices, so stick with a Duracell pack from a registered seller on amazon/ebay - just check the reviews out. Never had an issue. Saves a fortune compared to the price at a supermarket.

I've bought Duracells from Sainsburys and they still get eaten like nobodies business on my Garmin Vector 2's!

Panasonic from Amazon... Not from a market place seller.

I normally buy the GP ones from Toolstation. Too many fakes on ebay and amazon to be worth the hassle.

OH did buy a pack of Panasonics from the supermarket the other day, Sainsburys or Waitrose I think.

Local Boyes store seems to sell them off regularly at £5:00 for a card of 10, 50p each seems OK to me. Use them in my Suunto watch and a cheap HRM, both about 6-12 months.

Just bought 2 2032 and 2 2025 for $10 as the watch shop wanted $40 to replace one battery and they weren't prepared to tell me what brand it was! ($40 to fit a battery and declined pressure testing seemed a little optimistic pricing)

Vaguely dull fact:

Do you know what the model numbers mean? It's the dimensions of the cell. So a CR2032 is 20mm in diameter and 3.2mm thick. The same is true of most (all?) button cells.

I used to work for a well known battery brand. Don't buy batteries from eBay or market stalls. Quite often counterfeit.

Needed lr44 batteries this week. Asked at my local corner shop. They had a tray under the counter. 50p each. eBay and Amazon aren't always cheapest. They are working k so far

We have had huge numbers on CR2032 CMOS batteries failing early in Lenovo PCs at work (100s of 'em), so I assume Lenovo source them off Ebay too.

That's actually interesting, & potentially useful.

My stages is getting through batteries at the rate of one every 2 rides so I went down the Amazon route and bought 40 for 11 quid.

No idea if they are any good but even if I need to change them mid ride I'll still be saving money than buying from the local supermarket at 4 quid for 2.
