I was rubbing my hands together with glee thinking "yay 2 months of no council tax". Checked my bank statement and they've taken it anyway!!! Looks like a phone call will have to be made in the morning. I wouldn't mind if it was a reduced rate spread over 12 months, but it's not.
I wonder what century I will get my refund in.
