....forget I've got an Audi or wood burning stove or even that my kids have Isla bikes this one really takes the biscuit !

I buy Nairn's oat biscuits....

The only factory made biscuits I'd consider eating, good stuff

remember its the only factory made biscuit worth eating...

that's classic...and if you don't agree then so be it !

It's been a while since we've had a thread picking on a single user specifically.

Very commendable...

I wasn't picking on a user at all that's how you have perceived it !

I meant the phrase is up there with I've got an Audi etc...

No offence meant to anyone...

Pfft! Its easy for you to mock. You're probably the kind of frightful person who'd eat shop-bought salsa, rather than making your own, fresh

You disgust me!

There is no better biscuit than a Jammy Dodger, no matter where it was made.

You could at least make it clear that it's quoting two from different people!

It did make me chuckle a little, that he'd consider eating them, not even definitely eat them 😀 Come on hilldodger if you're reading this, what have you got against venerable tea time classics such as Rich Tea and Digestives?

Nairn's oatcakes? Pfft

Patersons are cheaper and crunchier. I wouldn't consider giving my dog (spaniel) Nairn's oatcakes.

There isn't a King of Biscuits. The biscuit world is ruled by the Mint Viscount.

I get to eat Jaffa Cakes as part of my diet, so they're especially cool.

Jaffa cakes are cakes

When stale they go hard like cakes do.

As opposed to biscuits (remember the old ones in your Nan's biscuit tin) ... that go soft

Everything goes soft eventually.

[Unless that cute girl from the other half of the year is sitting on your lap on the school bus]

I'll eat any biscuit, factory made or otherwise, but I must admit to a particular penchant for Nairns Rough Oatcakes. Got to be rough tho'.

When making chocolate digestives... The chocolate is put on the underside of the biscuit as it travels through a shallow chocolate bath during the factory production.

Custom biscuits, from our own kitchen, are of course superior to aftermarket and factory biscuits.

Choccy digestives. How could it be anything else? Or is that too common for STW?
