Narrowed my search down to two steel hardtails, Cotic Solaris Max and RSD Middle Child. My local trails are in northern Colorado, a mix of alpine, high desert, big climbs and rocks (hence the name “Rocky Mountains”. Just curious, if anyone out there has a Solaris Max, and wondering what their opinion is for overall fun-factor? I know it’s fully capable for bike packing, and all-day rides, but was wondering just how much on the enduro hardtail does it lean? Thank you in advance.

There's a massive thread in the bike forum on the Solaris.

It's a great bike, I've got one, really stable and fast. Confidence inspiring.

Great bike. As you'd expect though the silver build wheels, WTB ST i29's on Deore hubs, are fairly porky, particularly with the WTB 2.6" tyres.

I have just repurchased my dark metal frame and built it up B+ for ‘packing duties...
