Does anyone know the rough cost (or Fords standard book time) for replacing a water pump (or timing belt, its basically the same job) on a fiesta 1.6 TDCi? Wife has been quoted about £800 by main dealer, and it seems high as water pump is only £100. is it a tricky job?

Thanks, didnt find that in my initial google. Still seems like widely varying prices, and I thought Ford has a standard time for those type of jobs. Is that available to review online?

Good indi expect 4-500 100 for pump 80ish for new belt and any tensioners or pulleys then new coolant and the rest in labour as its not a quick job looking 4hours to do it all properly I'd reckon book time prob somewhere nearer 6.
