How do I simply copy a the contents of s DVD in W 10. Haven't done such a thing for years but I am darn sure it was easy. Everything on the web looks complicated and no two web searches are the same. Why can't I just right click and then click copy and send it to a pc folder and then later send to it to a DVD?

Not done that in W10, but I'd probably install ImgBurn which is what I use for things like that on W7 - just remember to untick the boxes for the optional crapware when you install it.

Convertx to dvd still works fine in win 10.. If you're converting some other video format to dvd and burning to physical dvd disk.

ImgBurn will copy and burn a DVD if you just want a straight copy.

Note it won't deal with copy protection if it's a commercial copy protected DVD (noting copying even your own legally purchased DVD in the UK is illegal. There are various tools that deal with the copy protection but I guess shouldn't be mentioned here).

If it's purely data, you can just open the DVD in Explorer and copy the files to a folder, then use something like ImgBurn to burn them back, or I believe Win10 still has support for copying files onto a blank DVD.

Not commercial and not copy protected then? Install ImgBurn and select copy on the main menu. Though I presume W10 has built in support which would probably work just as well. Especially if it's just a file on the DVD, which you should be able to drag and drop using file exploder.

Is it a DVD that you stick in your DVD player and watch on the telly, or a DVD-ROM that stores files from a PC?
