Always a risk when in with the jujitsu boys! Which hold did he get him with as I've not seen only read.

The way he looked at 168ib was as a fighter should look. People won't accept him dropping all that weight to fight shorter, smaller guys anymore.
he's eating an extra slice of humble pie today I suspect

Didn't realise he'd stepped up as much as 25 lbs. A tad unrealistic really. Hopefully it'll peg his gob back a bit but I doubt it...

I doubt it - win/win situation really. If he won, he had the glory. Because he lost, he has a pretty good excuse.
He only lost on a submission - so that doesn't destroy his rep.

Did he really go up 25lbs? That seems very ambitious.
Was the other loss a big shock?

He asked the other fella to drop a weight and meet in the middle but he couldn't /wouldn't at such short notice. So he stepped up 2 to keep the fight.

Not strictly true.

Dana phoned Nate and offered him the fight at 160, Nate said he couldn't make 160 and 165 was what he could do. Dana phoned Connor and said Nate wants the fight but can only make 165, to which connor replied in his usual arrogant fashion, tell him I'll fight at 170, backfired, too big for his boots.

Maybe now connor will get down of his high horse and realise he isn't invincible, and give up with the 'could kill a man' and 'I would box mayweather' bullshit

Needs to up his ground game big time.

And keep his guard up, he was too easy to hit.

I like Connor but I think he now has to accept he's king in the smaller division but can't walk through the divisions, as he goes up his power gets less and opponents chins get stronger not to mention they hit harder. (For those that didn't watch he was screwed before it hit the floor, punch drunk like Ronda was).

I can't now see a convincing reason why he will get a shot at the 155 belt. TBH he needs to works massively on his ground game cause he's come up very short once again. If said Diaz was a good boxer with exceptional ground/BJJ on social media and felt the upset might be there.

Connor (like Hollie Holme) has proved to be a one dimensional fighter in MMA, good stand up but you can't be like that in MMA.

I see a short and unsuccessful MMA career for Connor from here on out, every one will use te take down and ground game against him, look at Petisbeaten once then every body follows suite with strategy!

He was far too easy to hit and his ground game was poor, instantly rolled over and let him apply a choke hold.

I'm glad they were both gracious in their behaviour after the match and I don't doubt he will be back when he has settled in to his weight and fight some more.
