Zwift did an update and says my Mac needs to update the OS. Problem is, it's too old to update any higher.
I don't want to buy a new computer just fir Zwift. What is the cheapest way to get Zwift on a large screen? I don't have Apple TV, or an iPad. It works on my phone but staring at a small phone screen is a bit annoying.
I recently got an Apple TV (I’ve also got a gaming laptop) and am REALLY impressed with the Apple TV TBH..
Do that.

Does Apple TV require a subscription?
Presumably you have a larger screen/tv to use (since you're considering apple tv), just cast your phone to the larger screen.
Cast or use a USB to Monitor/HDMI adapter ?
of course if you do that you won’t be able to use Companion appjust cast your phone to the larger screen.
no, that’s the (confusingly named) Apple TV+ streaming serviceDoes Apple TV require a subscription?
Older model but runs Zwift fine:

I have a spare phone. I use 1 phone for the companion app and on older phone for Spotify.
I have a spare computer monitor but my phone doesn't support that (I tried a USB c to HDMI lead before and later found my phone doesn't support video out).
How could I cast my phone (Android) to a computer monitor?)
