Are they worth the cash or is there better for the money?

Intended for an iMac. Apart from listening to music in quiet times at work, I'd like something with a bit of grunt to compete with a turbo trainer and expiring 'rider'!

I looked at all manner of computer speakers in the high end range but in the end decided that for the purpose and given they can rarely be setup 'properly' (as you would for a proper hi fi system) coupled with the fact they'd be used for gaming and background music and never for critical listening I went for a cheap Logitech 2.1 set (£40 odd).

They're perfectly fine for the purpose - more than happy with them.

I've just hooked up my better half's Aego Ms to my PC**, as she has been using the TV's for audio/visual for her PC for a while, they sound great compared to my Sennheiser headphones for music and I can now hear the door knock or phone ring.*

*This might not be a good thing, lots of cold callers! 😆

** With permission 😉
