...not being as exciting as it used to be...

Just thought I'd revive an old favourite, then. 😀

Not a bloody prayer (if you'll pardon the expression!) 😉

The problem is that you're posting habits are so erratic, Woppit. If you spent more time on here rather than dreaming of Spain (or wherever), we'd all be a good deal less placid.

Perhaps if posts weren't being deleted so much the discussions would pick up.
No point writing something for it only to go missing because of the professionally offended finding the report button.
So much for being adults on here rather than running to teacher.....

sorry was going to post then I had to sign in again, yeah I ticked remember me but it didn't, I'd post more if I didn't have to sign in every time I refresh. Yeah I'm pretty sure it's not a ploy to ensure more eyes on the paid for advertising. Anyway, what were you saying, complaints about the forum? no none I haven't got any. 😐

Perhaps it'd pick up more if people weren't so presumptuous and whiny.

For all your protestations no-one actually reported your post, I deleted it as inappropriate because, well, it was inappropriate.

It was a light hearted p*ss take on a serious thread Cougar - the OP in that case is more than happy to banter on here as others as his posts have showed.
It was far, far less "inappropriate" than a lot of stuff on here recently.

FWIW I think Cougar deserves a big pat on the back ( creepy stalker - moi? )
He moderates with a light touch, he is willing to discuss his moderation a little and we all know he is a mod

Moderation on fora is a difficult balancing act and even tho I have been on the wrong end on what I see as harsh decisions in the past I think overall the moderation on here is good

Posting on the forum is the same level or professionalism, just more public.

Unlike some wwaswas I'm happy that this is a forum and have the requisite skin thickness to not get offended.
I choose to be on here so my posts, etc are fair game.
The only time I have ever been offended is when a certain member thought it was fair to abuse my OH. That I didn't take kindly too however I didn't bother with a report button because I am no different here too in real life and nothing I post is anything I wouldn't say to someones face. So I posted exactly what I would have said to his face.

No offence Cougar - we've all seen some of your posts and close to the bone you get sometimes..............
So maybe consider the posts in line with the thread as a whole.

I know this. I felt it went to far. So I deleted it. Because, y'know, I can. So shush.

None taken. My self-regulation filter is a little broken sometimes because I'm Aspie, so it's a good thing for others to call me out if I go too far (and I will and have publicly apologised on occasion). You can 'report post' me just like any other user as 99% of the time that's what I'm posting as.

I'm not paid, so I suppose voluntarily offended would be more accurate. (Not that I was offended, I choose to take offence very very rarely.

It's entirely possible, but not that I recall.

TBH, I rarely issue bans other than permanent ones. I'm far more likely to try and make you look silly in public. (-:
