I`m looking for a decent compact camera that I can take when biking to capture some of the views.
Simple really, looking to spend no more than £200.
I know there have been a few threads on here so links back is fine.
Cheers

If you can find a Canon S95 in budget then I'd highly recommend that, it's an awesome little camera. I hardly use my SLR since I got mine (though to qualify that, my SLR is a slightly tired D60, it's not going to be better than a D3 or anything!).

I've got a Nikon P300 that I think is pretty good. It occasionally struggles with focus in low light, but happy with it on the whole. It has quite a good 180 or 360 panorama mode for landscapes & plenty of manual options if you fancy fiddling about with it.

You can pick up a Canon S100 fo a little over £200. Well worth the extra. Failing that as Mooly says, S95 is excellent.

Sorry. Meant to say in my post that the p310 is the latest version.
As mentioned above, the S95/S100 is the one to beat, I think.
Also consider the equivalent Panasonic Lumix.

To be honest any of the above three are cracking cameras. I went for the Canon 'cos it was the best deal going, but that may not be the case now.

I've got a Canon Powershot S100. Amazing camera.

I'm useless with a camera and managed to take these:
