So, what booze would be best to send me off to sleep for a long flight?

Help me choose, STW, you're my only hope!

Melatonin. Sends you off nicely and stops you getting jet lag.

Hmmm, good suggestions both, so thank you. However, I've just been to survey the bar here in the lounge and they seem to be out of those. I can only assume the Glasgow flight has just left. 😉

Temazepam. My cousin used to swear by them when on a long haul to the far east or oz. 😯

BMI have lounges these days? Good Lord above, what is the world coming to!

No, am in the BA lounge. Have found the port. Pretty decent stuff, actually.

Oh, and am watching the rugby too! Which is nice.

That's 'cause it's proper posh poetry.

The was a young lady from Ealing,
Who had the most peculiar feeling,
She lay on her back,
Opened her crack,
And p*ssed all over the ceiling.

Now that's poetry what rhymes.......but it ain't posh.

Does the thread title come from something else that pre-dates that song? It's the only place I know it from.

At least someone got the reference, Cougar!

A few glasses of Sancerre and a port did the trick. Slept like a log until about an hour before landing. Which was nice.

Now 7, IIRC. I remember joking at the time that the numbers were getting a bit silly. They're up to Now 78 now.
