I don't even care if it's not that great - I just think it will be an amusing thing to have hanging up in the shed. 😀

Looks like Lidl packaging.

One of those got me into a lot of trouble last year.

Yup Lidl, and yup £39.99.

My vegetarian wife was surprisingly understanding. 🙂

Some discussion here about them - http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/lidl-jamon-serrano-reserva-6-5-7-5-kg-39-99-1703816#comments

Some people seem to have had issues with mould - some people are saying it's not a problem anyway. Mine doesn't look particularly mouldy.

Only just got round to sampling this and in my inexpert opinion it's delicious.

Had a little sunday lunch with a few mates and did a starter with serrano ham, goats cheese, caramelised balsamic red onions, a balsamic reduction and toasted seeds - bloody delicious and a good talking point/spectacle for the table.

Got a stand for it so I suppose I will have to buy more at some point. 🙂

We've got one sat in the cupboard, currently unopened. Thought it'd be rude not to for 40 quid!

Do you know how long it's supposed to last durhambiker? I'm assuming it's quite a while unopened but I'm not sure once it's started.
