That sounds ace. Unfortunately, although I'm in Leeds tomorrow, I'm going through European Social Fund financial monitoring requirements and procedures. As I say, your thing sounds ace.

I used deliver 50 papers every Sunday. They were an inch thick, some of them. I rode my bike all the way round and never asked anyone for £120 to watch me do it.

What's the world coming to?

It's actually £196 😯

Sounds interesting, and I'm at a loose end tomorrow, but wow, that's pricey !

Hang on..... 50 papers an inch thick. I'd have paid good money to watch you wobbling down the road on your grifter with a 4 foot deep delivery bag.

Are you serious?!? I didn't realise it was that much!

I wonder if it would be possible to slip in unnoticed.

But I'm probably underselling myself. I'm sure I'm worth it.

@thecaptain: I'm sorry you find knowledge generally, and history specifically, useless. 😕

Apology accepted. And when you're finished, I'll have a Big Mac and fries. Though perhaps it will be one of your students serving me.

I'm nearby, in Sheffield.

Can't you just tell us what's in the speech after? What's it about?

If it was in Birminingham and free - I would be there. I like a bit of history.

I'll tell you when we next ride together. In fact, I had a stack of abstracts with a comparative table included that were meant to be distributed to the attendees. But I forgot them at home. Consequently, I can give you 50 of them for free. 😳

@SaxonRider - will you be delivering the session through the medium of PowerPoint, or will you stay in medieval mode and have some serfs drag in tapestries to aid elucidation ?
😉
