I thought I read on here that if you combine storage and sd and then remove the card that you run into issues.
My new phone will have the card and sims in a combined tray.
So if I put in a 3 sim for my holiday I will have to remove sd card as well.
What exactly happens in that scenario?
Depends what your phone will be set to store on the SD card. If you have apps images and data on there it will be unavailable.
As long as you put the SD card back in it will all be fine!
Result. Thanks.
On Android phones, it's a good idea to go to Settings > Storage and tap the 'eject' symbol to disconnect the card before removing it, to avoid the risk of corrupting stored data.
Or switching it off...
Power down, swap SIMs, power up, job jobbed. The phone will never know it's been removed.
