I don't think we've done this, but as a newbie to the artform these are currently 'floating my boat'...

What's your colouring book of choice?

@eyestwice. Some kind of eraser, methinks...

The 'rick & morty' books look quite good, as does this;

Amazon have upped their range of colouring books.

The ‘halo’ inspired books by Anastasia Donovan are great.
(Different covers, but exactly the same inside.)

What you need is the cat bum colouring book.

But what are the best pens?

Pencils. Blending, mixing, light, dark etc.

Prismacolor Premier is a safe bet

*Ma P7eaven is a serial colourer-innerer. I’ve never tried it but this one looks good:

Crayola coloured pencils seem far better than the Faber-Castell efforts at the lower end of the market.

Stabilo erasers are great, and you’ll need a decent pencil sharpener.

I like to add some highlights with paper mate inkjoy gel pens.

You could also try using fountain pens. Amazon are selling 8 jinhao fountain pens for about a tenner.

If the paper is decent quality, you might get away with using highlighter pens on some parts.

I’d avoid using felt-tip pens as these can bleed through. Though, when they’re about to dry out, they can add some interesting effects.

Cheers😉
