Hi, possibly buying a motorbike which is in North Yorkshire and I'm in Kent so considering a motorbike collection service as the train fare + petrol will come to >£100 - anyone used a motorbike delivery service?

Cheers

Diesel for a van from Yorkshire to Kent and back, drivers wages and van running cost. Surely that's way more than £100 quid. For that distance, I think that would be mates rates for me to do it.

Surely unless it's a utilitarian 125. Think of £100 as good value for a weekends bike riding!

You're going to flip when you see how cheap a 2nd class stamp is to post a letter the same distance.

Or less sarcastically, the business model is to dive bikes all over the country, they've probably got a van full of them, just like sendng a letter.

At £100 all in I'd go an collect it if that was me.

I bought a bike a few years ago from Northern Ireland, I'm also in Kent. I got it collected and delivered to me for £220 all inc. You might be able to get someone to collect it for £70. The drivers normally have lots of jobs booked, one going there and one going back, so it's not just fuel there and back.

OP - try http://www.chasmortimer.co.uk/ - that's who I used for my Northern Ireland bike.
