It's called humour. You make incorrect statements in an attempt to raise a slight smile or just add a bit of texture to your conversation with seemingly non-sensical juxtapositions and cross-references.

full fat milk

full fat yoghurt

full fat <insert product that is also available in diet version>

Not really so complex is it? I guess if you think it makes people look silly, you're the kind of person that also corrects people on 'centrifugal force' and so on.

Steady on Captain, I thought leaded/unleaded refers to the caffine/caffine free varieties.

Funny (well odd rather than laugh out loud funny) thing is the definition of a low fat food is to be below 5% fat.
'Full Fat' milk is 4% fat so is actually a low fat food 😕

Full fat.... yet whenever you see fatties drinking coke its always of the diet variety! Nothing like a whole bunch of artificial sweetners to actually increase your craving for sweet things.

Also, not sure drinking several cans of methanol is going to do your long term health much good!!

I agree with Molgirps. Incorrectly calling it full fat and making yourself sound a bit silly and having a bit of a laugh n that is more preferable to calling it full sugar and sounding like a bit of a square.

Caffeine free? What sweet lunacy is this?

Next you'll be telling me you can get caffeine free coffee, or alcohol free beer. Madness, madness I tells thee!

You get het up about people saying "full fat coke" because there is no fat in coke - we all know the calories are from carbs/sugar. No one cares about the factual accuracy as anyone normal knows exactly what it means.

Same as centrifugal force - Many people know it doesn't exist but the apparent effect is quite clear and people understand what the term means.

Simply put, it's not worth worrying about.

The first time someone said "full-fat coke" to me, i found it a slightly amusing if odd way of describing the relative sugar levels. Now, after the billionth time someone has asked me the same question, I just want to kill them.

Not bothered about coke versions, but we should clear up this centrifugal/centripetal force thing: http://xkcd.net/123/

I don't about full fat but I tried pepsi max cherry the other day. The diabetic gods have finally answered my prayers. I can enjoy a full glass of the fizzy shit without going into a jibbering coma.

Can I get laid now?
