Know nothing about them at the moment but thinking of getting one. One that uses sachets but must do hot chock sachets for the missus. Any suggestions/recommendations please? Thanks in advance.

Nespresso machine with an aeroccino milk frother. No HC capsules but my kids love the frothy hot choc you can make using normal cadburys hot choc powder

the cheap option is a Mocha pot - £15-£30 and make awesome, strong smooth coffee on the stove. Easy to do, easy to clean, great coffee but no froth or steam.

Bosch Tassimo here, very happy with it. Regular coffees, espresso, hot chocs, lattes. Very easy to use, cheap enough and good enough.

Like a sachet thingy but without being locked into buying capsules etc.

Take coffee and make coffee, use the wand to heat your milk for hot chocolate. Simple and effective, only thing it won't do is make a proper cup of tea.

Rocket e61 is the only choice. And a moustache. And a singlespeed. And some craft beer.

I've had both the heathen tassimo and espresso machines. I much prefer the espresso (have the milk thingy too).

I have no plans to change my heathen ways until it breaks, then maybe 😉

I would suggest you dont go on http://coffeeforums.co.uk/ to ask about bikes....but they do know a hell of a lot about coffee machines etc. Worth opening your eyes before you purchase.

In STW tradition, you should buy what I have, even if it's not what you want. So get a Rancilio Silvia.

My old Francis Francis was a decent machine which could use either pods or the real stuff, so that might be the way to go if you think you might get into it properly one day.

tezza we're not all bathing in oil money either.

Rumour has it your butler uses new crisp £20 notes to light the logs imported from some uninhabited island in the Caribbean in your log stove!
