Know nothing about them at the moment but thinking of getting one. One that uses sachets but must do hot chock sachets for the missus. Any suggestions/recommendations please? Thanks in advance.
Nespresso machine with an aeroccino milk frother. No HC capsules but my kids love the frothy hot choc you can make using normal cadburys hot choc powder
+1 on a nespresso, consistent tasty coffee. And able to froth milk for hot choccy
the cheap option is a Mocha pot - £15-£30 and make awesome, strong smooth coffee on the stove. Easy to do, easy to clean, great coffee but no froth or steam.
Thats moka pot.
Mochas a barely coffee hot frothy chocolaty milky drink with a hint of coffee
Bosch Tassimo here, very happy with it. Regular coffees, espresso, hot chocs, lattes. Very easy to use, cheap enough and good enough.
Heathens!!!!!
Gaggia Classic with a Rancillo wand and learn the proper techniques....
(Thats moka pot.) no it`s mocha, named after a Yemen port from which Arabian wine(coffee) was exported 😉

Like a sachet thingy but without being locked into buying capsules etc.
Take coffee and make coffee, use the wand to heat your milk for hot chocolate. Simple and effective, only thing it won't do is make a proper cup of tea.
Rocket e61 is the only choice. And a moustache. And a singlespeed. And some craft beer.
Not sure you can make a hot chocolate in one of those....
Aeropress?
I've had both the heathen tassimo and espresso machines. I much prefer the espresso (have the milk thingy too).
I have no plans to change my heathen ways until it breaks, then maybe 😉
I would suggest you dont go on http://coffeeforums.co.uk/ to ask about bikes....but they do know a hell of a lot about coffee machines etc. Worth opening your eyes before you purchase.
How does the STW massive rate the La Cimbali M21 Junior?
why would you make hotchocolate in a coffee machine - the clues in the name.
hotchocolates made in a saucepan with a whisk isnt it ?
Get a Jura machine
My only experience says; don't buy a Delonghi. Complete shite.
In STW tradition, you should buy what I have, even if it's not what you want. So get a Rancilio Silvia.
My old Francis Francis was a decent machine which could use either pods or the real stuff, so that might be the way to go if you think you might get into it properly one day.
bruneep .... i doubt hes public sector enough for that.
gold plated pensions and all that.
tezza we're not all bathing in oil money either.
Rumour has it your butler uses new crisp £20 notes to light the logs imported from some uninhabited island in the Caribbean in your log stove!
The latest Silvia can use pods if you really must.
20s ? who carries 20s ? its 50s round here im afraid.
my boss seems to think i bathe in oil also .... the state of my hands some days when i get to work.
I like the look of this kickstarter project. 240v version planned.
Quite like that kickstarter. Not even going to look at the price of that Jura!
nuova simonelli premier maxi, that should do you.
